Hi girls,
Last week my doctors called me and asked for my consent to send a summary of my medical history to MYA which I obviously agreed to. This week I called MYA to check they’d done that and the lady told me they were now waiting for my GP to sign a letter. My PC also said she’d let me know when they receive it.
I’m just confused though? I thought once they had the medical history everything was sorted. I’m not sure what this GP letter is.
I’m also concerned because my GP surgery is known for being slow and having pretty bad patient communications. I’d hate for that to be the reason my op was cancelled!
Anyone able to shed any light?
