Guys I’m having a weave in tomorrow so can either have it plaited and sewed in or micro weft which is little silicon beads that the connect your hair with the extensions!!! Do people know if I can have a micro weft in my hair day of surgery? Or will I have to just get a plaited weave xx

You can’t have a microweft if the beads have the metal in them which I believe they usually do. I have nano ring extensions and I’ve had to remove all of mine for surgery on Friday. I feel so bald!!! Xx

I think if you don’t tell them they’d never know/not ask. However having metal removed on/in/around your body during ANY surgery is due to the fact that if (in an extremely rare unlikely event) you needed shocking using a defibrillator you’re going to end up with serious/nasty burns in that area….I joked I’d end up like Cynthia off rugrats haha. It is just a precautionary measure xx

I had my op with my la weave in. They never mentioned it to be honest and i didn’t give it a 2nd thought. They taped my wedding rings and the micro rings are silicone lined. Glad i didn’t end up like cynthia tho ????

Thanks guys! I got a plaited weave in the end! Messaged my PC and she said absolutely no metal at all so didn’t risk it! Head is killing though! I knew after surgery I would feel ugly if I didn’t make some sort of effort so at least I’ll have princess hair now hahah

I had I micro rings in for my op, showed my nurse at pre op and she was fine with them staying in. Nothing was said in the day either xx
