Nexplanon / Implanon??

I’ve read a few posts about having to stop taking the pill so many weeks before surgery which I didn’t know about. Will this apply to all types of contraceptives? I’ve got the Implanon implant, not too sure if I will need to have that taken out?

Any help would be fab! x

I have surgery on Monday and at my pre op appointment my nurse said having the implant is absolutely fine there’s no need to have it taken out x
