Nipple piercing

Hey girls I’m having my surgery on Sunday, I’ve not gone with MYA but my surgeon said he recommends to leave my piercing out for 2-3 months? Is this really necessary what would happen if I didn’t wait that long? If my op turns my nipples crazy sensitive then I’d never be able to put myself through getting it re pierced

I had my surgery last Monday and my surgeon said I could put them straight back in if I wanted to! But for some reason they’re just not going in! Not sure if my nipples are still swollen or if they’ve closed up slightly? Let me know if yours go through okay!x

Def get a larger loose bar so nipples can swell a bit during recovery
