Nipple Piercing and dr traynor

Does anyone know what dr traynor says about removing nipple piercings? Iv been told they should be removed 5 weeks prior by my pc but the nurse said i can keep a plastic bar in up until surgery then put straight back in??

I wasn’t with MYA so I’m not sure about your specific surgeon but I took mine out just before and put them back in myself about 5 hours later x

I went with Mya but not same surgeon, I took mine out about an hour before I went down for surgery and put it back in around 4 hours after! xx

I had Mr Traynor and took it out just before op, never put it back in though as I heard stuff that it can cause infection and CC. Don’t know how true that is though x
