    Hi,
I had my surgery last Friday (23rd) and it all went well and my recovery has been fairly easy up until today.
I had my check up on Thursday and the nurse was happy with everything, but today my boobs feel a bit more sore/hard (kind of like they’re tensed, if that makes sense?).
I don’t know if it’s because I’ve not been taking any painkillers other than the occasional ibuprofen for the last day or so, or because I’ve been doing slightly more movement?
I was wondering if anyone else has had this, and if it’s normal/to be expected?

    Thanks!

Hi Maya, I had my op on 19th and have had a fairly good recovery. However, like you I’ve had some more significant pain on a few days this week which have led to me taking pain killers again. This is particularly in my left breast (which I also think is the larger of the two), coming from under my arm, aching and tensing, like you say. I’m still wearing a breast band and I had 265 unders. I don’t know whether it’s to be expected, so I’ll be keen to hear what others think.

    Hi Lindy,

Thanks for your reply – it’s very reassuring to hear it’s not just me! I also had unders so maybe it is to be expected? I’ve still got the breast band on too and I do find that very uncomfortable so can’t wait until I can take that off!

The breast band is sooooo uncomfortable! I need to wear mine for 4 weeks, day and night. Is it the same for you? What size implants did you have?

Only another 5 days, thank goodness! I had 375 on one side and 300 on the other.
    Who was your surgeon?

    Hi Lindy,
I have been wearing my breast band for a week now and do find it uncomfortable too. I have cut the ends off from two fluffy socks and have threaded them through the band to make it abit more comfier xx

Thanks Lauren. I’ve been wearing mine for two weeks (almost) now and am kind of getting used to it. I won’t be sad to see it go though!

I was only told about it on the day of the surgery, like after I woke up,l. I’m not sure if it’s a case of they decide if it’s needed at the time?

Hope you’re feeling better now Lindy!
