Got my date for October 21st at Preston with Mr Traynor.

Anyone else around that date looking for advice with what to take what to help with recovery best clothing to pack etc.

To make it easier with childcare and with no being able to come in hospital I am planning on travelling down night before and attending the hospital with a overnight stay and my partner come down the next day to bring me home.

How long should he take off work will 4 days be enough I’ve took 2 weeks.

Mines on the 27th and also have children. I was told its fine to go back a week later as long as you don’t have any heavy lifting

Sorry I entered before id finished 🙈😂 I think 4 days would be enough as a lot of people on here said they recovered quickly but depends on how quick you recover

I had my op at Preston with Mr Traynor 5 years ago. He’s done an amazing job. I had 3 children to and a husband who helped me during recovery. I won’t lie it’s painful after and for the full two weeks it’s hard going and uncomfortable. Just keep
Up with the meds you get given..I couldn’t have gone back to work in those first few weeks so I was glad to have booked that time
    Off.
As long as you have a good zip up fronted sports Bra to wear home you will be fine. I actually travelled home in my pjs as most comfortable. Avoid tight clothing or tops that go over your head making you raise your arms to get off.
    Good luck.
