Office job and returning to work after a week

Hi I have booked a full week off work for when I have surgery, has anyone else returned to work after one week and was ok??

I feel I have a pretty high pain threshold I’ve had 3 c-sections and was up and about on all of them after 3 days on my 3rd I was doing the school run on day 4 so I’m hoping I’ll be ok!!

I don’t work but by day 4 I was fine, I’m 3wks post op Tomoz, I was still careful with lifting but not because it hurt just coz I didn’t want to cause any problems, I washed my hair over bath by day 4 it was fine I had 450 partials from an a/bcup, just keep
On top of your meds after day 2 I only had paracetamol and ibruprofen as codean made me sick xx

My friend has an office job and was back to work after a week but it all depends on your recovery xx

i think it all depends on how you recover personally. I will be going back to work on day 5 but I have a fairly sedentary job and if there’s heavy lifting ill be avoiding it. If i do find i need a few extra days ill take it

Hey, as everyone has said it all depends on the person. I was back in work after two days, and I was actually working from home on the day of the op from the hospital bed lol! It all depends on the person. Good luck!!! xx

I booked a week off and usually i have a high pain threshold so thought my recovery would be a breeze..i had overs aswell which are supposed to be less painful…anyway im 7 days post op and im supposed to be back in on monday and really dont feel up to it yet. I have quite bad bruising aswell…so you cant really predict x
