Has anyone suffered with really oiley skin post op? I’m two days post op and have never suffered with oiley skin before and now my whole body is oiley?? I’ve read online it’s a side effect of anaesthetic, how long will this last ?

Yes ?. My boobs and shoulder area are especially oily but I’ve never been oily in these areas before. At day 3 I developed a rash of red pimply spots on my boobs and they are still there at day 6. Nurse said this is because my normal washing routine has changed and is more limited as still can’t get the area wet… Also have bloating, constipation and thrush from the meds / operation. Such an attractive time ?.

Oh no really that’s not good! I found a damp flannel with antiseptic soap and talc has helped me a lot but still I know what you mean it’s deffinatly not an attractive time! Wish I could fast forward to being back to normal in a bikini somewhere ??? got a long way to go only 2 days post op xx
