On my period for my surgery

Has anyone been on their period for their surgery before.

I havnt had my surgery yet but if you’re worried it won’t postpone your surgery you would just need to wear a pad during surgery not a tampon. Xx

This may sound ridiculous, I’ve seen the knickers the give you and I don’t understand how I’m meant to wear a pad with them. I’m just assuming you’ve got to try and make it work? Xx thank you girls

Yeah the nickers are huge but you can roll them up and it would work there’s a place for the pad xxx

Hi girls, I had my surgery on Friday and got my period the day before which wasnt ideal. For the surgery you need to wear a pad in the paper pants, my advice would be to put as big a pad as you can get and ask for an extra pair of paper pants.
I find whilst laid down I didnt lose much but as soon as I stood I noticed it so just hold the pad against you as you stand. You only need to wear it for the surgery so can change to a tampon straight after.
