ONE WEEK POST-OP

Hi girls!

Had my op on Friday 23rd and its been a week and still feeling a bit out of it and not myself – I’m constantly tired and my brain feels so foggy and cloudy but I stopped taking cocodamol on Monday morning and have just been taking ibruprofen.

Does anyone else recall feeling like this a week after the operation? I feel like I should have been getting back to normal now but I’m getting quite worried as I’m back in work on Tuesday!

Hey Christy, I hope you’re feeling a little better now. I had mine the day before you and yesterday was the first day I didn’t feel foggy brained with a constant headache, so you’re not alone. I haven’t taken anything since last Sunday and feeling much better now.

Ah thank you Claire! It’s reassuring to hear you’re also feeling like this – I keep reading posts of girls out and about after their ops and feeling fine and it makes me panic hahaha!

I’m still stuck in the house after 10 days! It’s driving me mad, I’m trying to move which is sore but it’s more the breathlessness and I feel exhausted! I hope you all have a speedy recovery xxx
