Ops cancelled from asthma

Hi Ladies

I know a lot of people’s ops were being cancelled due a history of asthma. Does anybody know whether this is still happening, or has anybody recently had their operation even though they have had asthma in the past?

Just trying to find out whether it is still an ongoing issue?

Hey hun, I’ve just had my op (1st Sept) but I was offered an earlier date in July but it was cancelled as I had a history of asthma from being a child. I had to get a letter from GP just confirming it was no longer and issue. MYA were happy with that and signed me off xx
