Over active thyroid

Hey , has anyone had a thyroid issue but still had surgery done x

I don’t have a thyroid due to cancer. I had a mastopexy breast augmentation 10 days ago and all well so far!
I take Levothyroxine every day. Be honest with your Surgeon and they will work with you, ( I did’nt go with Mya) My Surgeon never said there was an issue. Obviously everybody is an individual, for me it never was an issue. Hope that helps, good luck. Xx

I have an under active thyroid and take 50mg of levothyroxine. Like Sharon I went private but I told them before surgery and it wasn’t an issue and I’ve had a really good pain free recovery so far. My surgeon said it shouldn’t pose any issue. Good luck with your surgery x

Thankyou girls just rang said id have bloods for full blood count and thyroid would have to be balanced stable for 4 weeks to have op xx
