Hi guys I’m booked to have 250&275cc HP overs in October. Currently a C (D in Ann summers).

I’m occasionally worrying about the recovery. I have about 10 days off work due to half term (i work in a school). I’m worried that this isn’t going to be enough time to recover. Although my job isn’t physically demanding. I’m also more worried about not driving because I drive literally every day and I live about an hour for work. I’m hoping that 10 days will be okay for me to start driving to work again!

My surgeon said the recovery time is quicker and it’s less painful but I’ve read very mixed reviews. I believe I have a relatively good pain threshold but I’m a bit of a wuss when it comes to random twitches or sharp pains because it sets off my anxiety/panic attacks. (I’m one of those that reads up online and self diagnoses. Do not recommend!!)

If anyone has had similar to me, how was your recovery? When did you start driving? If you did have pain what was it like – aching, pressure, uncomfortableness? Etc. And how did you monitor your pain?

Thanks so much in advance x

I had bad pains for around the first 3 days, But now I’ve not took any painkillers in 3 days. I also had overs and I’m so shocked at how good recovery has been! I drove myself to my 1 week post op , you still feel pains but there bearable and 10 days I’d say is no problem, especially as it won’t be physically demanding when your back to work xx
