Overs or Partials???

Hi

I have had my second consultation today with Dr Mournir and I’ve got my suregery booked for the 17th of this month ???? and I’m just wondering if anyone can send me some pictures if you have had over the muscle or partials as they are the options my surgeon has suggested.
Also how long did it take you to recover?? Xxx

Hello, I had 350 and 375 partials as wanted them to be as natural looking as possible but it really is just down to personal preference, as for recovery I have been super lucky compared to alot of people! feel free to add as a pal I’m 10 weeks post surgery so happy to answer any questions if I can help xx

Was exactly the same then the actual day flew by!!
The whole journey is so exciting and fascinating, that’s why I love this forum no one gets bored of talking about boobs haha

I really don’t know what to do decide as Dr Mournir advised they would both look natural either way! Logically I’m thinking overs as it’s a quicker recovery I’ve got 2 kids still to look after but then in my head I’m thinking partials as I thought they would be more natural looking! Xxx

Let me know when you get your admission time and I will do the same! I am dead nervous deep down but I’m so focused on getting my recovery underway and getting back to normal that I just want it to happen already!

I’ve asked if it can be around 10am as I’ve got the kids to sort! My eldest is still off to school and the earliest I can take him is 8.3am.

Are you travelling far? I live in Pontefract so it’s an hour and half away for me xx

We are now friends lol yeah that was my impressions between overs and unders so wanted to make sure they looked as natural as possible and tbh a million percent made the right decision on partials and tbh recovery couldn’t have gone any smoother been so lucky and grateful for that, was convinced it was going to be a nightmare!! Lol
I just kept looking through pics of overs unders etc and my surgeon actually recommended partials which I didn’t know anything about to then had to go research some more lol

Don’t be nervous you’ll both be fine! The staff are all amazing and put you at ease so much, you both for day stays or overnight? Xx

I’m travelling from Liverpool so it’s not too bad for me, but I think I will stay with my Mum who lives in Southport the night before and the night after as then I’m less than an hour away – I am a day case so will be in and out! I think I would prefer to go in as early as possible then I will have less time to think about it, and then more time to recover afterwards before I need to try to sleep. I can’t wait now! I am so ready for this!

My aunt lives in Southport!
Im a day case too but they have told me to take an overnight bag just in case!

I can’t find any pictures of partials and overs could you send me some pictures Jenna please? I really do not know what to decide xxx

Oh wow I haven’t been told anything like that at all. I have my pre op tomorrow so maybe I will know a bit more then! It can’t come soon enough!

Thank you, couldn’t be happier with them now that creases are level and now equal size. It really is a life changer you just feel so much more comfortable in yourself am so much looking forward to your boob stories when you get yours! It’s such an exciting process!! Xx

I definitely feel that this will change my life, in so many ways! I will be so impatient while they are settling, but once they are all recovered I will be thrilled. I don’t think I even want to look at them at first, I want to wait until they’re more like the end result!

Hey Emma, I had partials.
It is painful, but more of a discomfort pain than anything unbearable. Things like getting up etc are difficult and hurt but if you can block out of a couple days to lay in bed and do nothing you’ll be absolutely fine! Day 1 and 2 were painful, by day 4 it had started getting better! My surgery was a Wednesday and by the Saturday I was pretty much out of pain, it just felt weird having two new things attached to me!

I’d highly reccomend partials tho. I’m 9 days PO now, I’ll attach some pics which show befores, 3dpo then today 9 dpo

Emma, have you had your admission time yet for Monday? I’m still waiting for mine, I just really want to know now so that I can start to plan!

My patient coordinator told me on the phone on Friday that with being in the morning they are normally on time so won’t have much wait from arrival time xxx what are you taking with you in your bag?

I’ve packed throat sweets in case I’m sore from the breathing tube, some ginger biscuits to settle my stomach in case I feel nauseous when I wake up, loose fitting trousers and button up shirts so I can dress myself again easily, big thick socks to keep my feet warm as they always get cold, a power bank so I don’t need to worry about putting my phone into a proper plug to charge up, headphones to keep me entertained, lip balm to keep me moisturised, and my post surgery bra of course! Are you feeling ready? I don’t think that it’s all hit me yet, I haven’t really thought about the op at all as I only first had the idea to do it in September and I’ve just rolled with it from there! I haven’t really thought about it properly I have to admit, but that’s probably the best way otherwise I would have just talked myself out of it! Sure it will begin to feel real and hit me properly tonight! Best of luck and do say hello if you see me around tomorrow, I’m the tall ginger with really long hair!

All I’ve packed is a towel because I think my PC mentioned they let you have a waist high bath afterwards and I’ve packed my surgery bras. I’m feeling very unorganised! I don’t know what to expect I thought I was ok but now I’m feeling nervous! Xxx

I don’t even think it’s sunk in yet for me, but get me in that hospital and get a gown on me and it will begin to dawn on me! I’m really hoping I’m first on the list so I can get it over with before I think about it too much!!! I’m not scared yet but I know I will be in the morning; just the unpredictability of what the pain will be like afterwards more than anything because I really do not handle pain well. I make a major drama over getting my lips done and make my boyfriend come with me so that I can squeeze his hand! Cringe! But we will be fine – thousands of women do this every year, and plenty go back for more, so surely it can’t be that terrible! Just think, this time tomorrow we will have the boobs of our dreams – how exciting is that!!! We got this!
