Pain

I’m 2days po and really struggling. Has anyone else found even breathing difficult. I’m a deep breather and feel like I can only take really short shallow breaths. The pain killers and muscle relaxants havnt been doing anything and the sleeping upright is already killing my bottom. Wish I was back at the hospital being given morphine ????

I know Hun, I was the some. Bear with I does get easier. I was told I could take ibruferine (sorry can’t spell), that really did help. Message you pc she’ ll let you know if that’s ok.
I also found ice packs are great for moments like this. X

Ice packs work winders Hun it gets easier day 3 and 4 where my two worse days after thst it got easier xxx

I feel you lv. Im on day 5 today. Day 3 was my worse so far. Although I have woken up today feeling alot of pain again, more than yesterday. I’m hoping in a few hours I’ll start to feel better.
I agree with the breathing thing definitely. Iv been trying to deep breath because they say it helps recovery. But this is just impossible.
Mine is more the swelling and hardness that’s causing the problem. It’s just so hard to do anything normal isn’t it??
Iv been told that after a week they will stay to feel a lot more noral, so I’m counting down the days.
I hope yours start to feel better soon too!

I really feel for you Cara, I’m day day 6 post op and the first 3 days were the worst. I struggled so much, like you it hurt just to breathe. I wasn’t sent home with muscle relaxants but by the end of day 2 I was crying so much my husband phoned the hospital and they sent a prescription to my pharmacy. I took these along with the co-codamol and ibuprofen and they helped a lot but it was still very painful. Day 4 was a turning point for me, I even managed to let my husband wash my hair, although it exhausted me and I had to lay down after it! It definitely does get better as the days go on promise. Hang on in there hun xxx

Hi, im 2 DPO and my arms at killing me, I can barely take them up, especially the left one where I was put the anaesthesia. I keep having shootings and burning sensation, and my bum was killing me last night. Can’t even take the bra off to have a look at the new assets its hurting that much! But I had 400 cc UHP unders so maybe thats why, cant wait to.feel better xxx
