    Hello,
I’m just wondering if anyone can help me.
I’m 10 months post op and I had 350cc. For the past 2 months I have been having a dull constant pain in my left breast and it’s starting to become very sore.

I have rang to make an appointment with Mr Traynor but he always seems to cancel them and I haven’t been able to see him. I have spoke to a nurse in the Liverpool clinic and she just advised me to see my surgeon but it’s difficult to get an appointment.

I’m very concerned as it’s affecting my daily life and have to be careful with what I’m picking up if it’s too heavy etc.
Has anyone had any similar pain before or know why I may be having pain?

    Thank you x x

I have just looked for you and it says after 6 months of surgery If you have any objective visible change in the breast- redness, tenderness, increase in size- you MUST see your doctor. You could have an infection, seroma, something. See your doctor. If your pain is in the lower outer part of the breast and your breast and skin look normal, then I always consider if your skin is thinning. As your breast implant settles, it pushes on the overlying skin. This pressure over time can cause the skin to thin. When your skin thins, it stretches the nerves in the skin. When nerves are stretched they get irritated, which manifests by things like itching, numbness, pain. If your pain started after a new workout/exercise, then it could be musculoskeletal (ie a pulled muscle). These tend to get better with Advil, not using the muscle, and time. I have copied and pasted this for you off a forum

    Thank you for your reply!
I’m going to see if I can get an appointment with my own GP and also keep trying with Mr Traynor.

I had an appointment booked in for the 29th but it was cancelled due to Mr Traynor having a meeting!

I have recently started wearing normal bras so maybe it could be too tight. I have been measured in two different shops and they both said I was a 34DD.

Definitely need to be looked it. I will keep trying. Thank you again x x

Hi lovely, did you get anywhere with this?
I have been having a similar problem with my implants and the same surgeon as you for so long now, I first made a complaint in November 2017 and that got.. ‘lost’ I’m still waiting for a response now 🙁
I hope you manage to get it sorted x
