Hi Nicola I’m now 10 days post op and day 2 was my worse day, I had 240 cc unders. Keep up with your painkillers and try icing. I was sick on day two the muscle relaxes didn’t agree with me and I was an emotional wreck. The worse part for me was the swelling I had to buy another post op be a because the ones I had order from may where far to tight. I’m just very bruised underneath now it will get better just try and rest and don’t over do it xx

I am 8 weeks post up now. had 320cc under the muscle. Like you my pain was so so bad especially day 2 to day 4. but it started to get better by day 5. it’s worse in the mornings but like some one has already said, it does get better. Wish you a speedy recovery.

I was the same too, i had mine done last Thursday and didn’t realise how much you use your arms and what’s not possible! I’m day 5 now and have started using my arms to get comfy in bed and bend down.. still taking the meds it’s the best thing i can recommend. Everyone heals different but it will get easier with time x

Thanks girls I did call up the clinic and all they said was to keep doing what I’m doing I tried icing and it just felt like it was stinging more so I scrapped that idear totally! The pain was so unbearable I sat and told my boyfriend I wantted them out to litrally only last night I said this! I can’t even get off or on the sofa I can’t lift a bottle of water to my mouth I have to use a strawl and I certainly can’t get to the toilet to even pull my own underware down or up it’s a complete nightmare! I’m waking up in the night to take my meds as I’m setting my alarm regular to take them so the pain don’t get any worse not that it possibly can I don’t think! Worste thing is not being able to move in bed my spine legs and back is killing where I can’t reposition myself litrally! I’m so hopping things dramatically improve I had my op 1st thing Monday morning I was the 1st one down the thetre so today being Wednesday I would class my self as 3days post op as I had a full day of pain Monday as my op was early! I’m lucky I havnt been sick even though if felt it! But I’m very very bloated still is this normal? And also it fills like the incistions made are really stinging like crazy? What is normal what isn’t thanks girls x

Also sorry had to add I send my friend up to marks yesterday I needed some more bras also as I found the black and pink one I had was really making the incistions hurt more I now have some just plain white post op bras from their! Still tight but a lot more comphy! I think the main feeling and th3 thing that scares me the most is the incistions to be honest because they feel so swollen and stinging and I can’t see what happening under the plasters it feels almost as if their over swelling and their going to pop open litrally it’s a awful feeling litrally! And the tape wow I have the extreme sticky stuff witch is really really irritating my skin to the maximum and is killing all my little hairs lol witch dosent help on top of everything else to be quiet honest with u! I can’t wait to get it off next Tuesday but also petrified of how their going to ev3n remove it because I’m so sore and the stuff is like super glue but I’m told my surgeon does this to every one he operates on x

Nicola I was in the exact same boat as you! I found day 2 and 3 to be the absolute worst. I was in tears sobbing my eyes out with the pain and I would have said I was good with pain. I was regretting it because the pain was so bad. I couldn’t move and when the pain killer would die off and I would literally be crying my eyes out and the more I cried the more it hurt lol. But it deffo gets better but for me it wasn’t until day 5 / 6. Hope you’re feeling better soon!x

Hey hope you’re feeling better and recovering well! I was just wondering how it was having the tape removed? I have the exact same thing and really scared about taking it off next week. On the day of my op the nurse had to take the tape off on the sides so she could remove the drains and honestly her taking that tape off was so painful!x
