Hi girls, so as my title says… painful nipples!!! They are, I’m assuming, over sensitive so they hurt like hell when they touch any surface, whether it be my arm, the bra, dressing gown, top. They hurt!! I’m just over 2wpo. Although, to be fair, I’m glad I have sensation as for a full week I couldn’t feel anything on the right one but it gradually came back.

The other issue is movement. My right implant feels like it’s moving all the time, when I walk, lean over, lie down. It doesn’t hurt but feels uncomfortable. Is that normal??

Hey Lauren, over sensitive nipples are normal as the nerves are starting to wake back up and start growing back/working again. The movement could be the implant starting to settle into the pocket created. Give your nurse a ring if your worried about it, put your mind at rest at least. Hope your recovery is going well otherwise xx

I had exactly the same with both problems, the nipple sensitivity drove me mad but I’m 13 weeks post op now and no where near as sensitive as they were.

I had the same with my right implant too, was really worried there was a problem but it’s settled down now x
