    Hi Girls,

I’m going back to work at just over two weeks post op. I’m really worried about not being able to move my arms still! I have to wear my hair up for work and I’m panicking now! I’m 6 days post op today and still feel useless!

What do you do hun? I’d imagine you would improve quite a bit over the next week and being week 2 also. I don’t personally know as only day 4 for me but that’s what lots of other ladies have said.
Are you taking anything to help with recovery? X

I’m at a desk job so not worried about the work, just worried about being able to get myself ready in the mornings haha. I hope I will improve by then – just panicking is all haha. I’m only on paracetamol now and taking the rest of the antibiotics I was prescribed too x

I was able to lift my arms up from day 1 and can do my hair now and lift my arms up (had op wed morning). My partner is going back to work after 1 week and I will have a 15m old to look after and my 12y old daughter. My worry is having the energy. I’ve spend every day in bed so far lol. X x

Did you have overs Catherine? That’s normal being in bed. I only went out on day 4 to get my hair done at the hairdressers. I’ve been out a few time since but not for long. Not sleeping well so I’m just exhausted by about 8pm haha x

I’m panicking too!! I’m going back on Wednesday and I would have had 10 days off. I’m ok pain wise (if I don’t do a lot), but not able to do much without getting really tight and in pain/irritating my stitches later on in the day!! I have a desk job also, but I’ll need to drive to get there (1 hour commute). Is anyone else ok with driving after 10 days? Xx

I stopped taking the co codamol as it was just making me feel really sick! Glad you’re recovering well though Catherine!
S, it’s still only Saturday so by Wednesday I’m sure you will be ok. Maybe have a Little drive a few days before to see how you go X
