Hey girls! I’ve decided on a size (350cc HP) and now need to decide on the placement. I want top volume but also don’t want them to look too fake. I’ve been offered under or over (With mr monir) but when I mentioned partials he said this is basically the same as under the muscle.. which has confused me? Please can anyone give advice on this

I’ve looked into this alot as I was very confused. Basically, 9 times out of 10 when a surgeon says unders they are in fact partials (or duel plane), it is very rare now a days for the implants to be completely under the muscle from top to bottom of the implant. When you have partials, only around half of the implant is under the muscle and the rest is free.
I have just had dual plane which I think may just be the norm when they talk about unders, the top half of the implant sits under the pecs with the bottom part just under the breast tissue, it means there is better coverage of the edges of the implant when there isn’t much breast tissue to cover it.
Hi Amy 🙂 It really depends on the surgeon on how they describe unders/dual plane. For example, my surgeon does dual plane different to under the muscle as people try to say I’m having unders as their surgeon doesn’t do both techniques. My surgeon specifically explained to me that by having Dual plane it wasn’t overs or unders. Each surgeon describes unders and dual plane differently though so it may just be worth classifying with your surgeon exactly what the placement of the implant may be. Look up a diagram online and ask him to tell you what one it is most like xx
Hi , I think dual plain is the same as partials ? I had parshals and I think mine look very natural I too was scared of the ‘fake ‘ look . I had 340cc high profile parshals from an a cup and now a d cup x
