    Hi ladies

I’m starting to prep now and make a list of what I need to buy ready for the big day! Can I ask what advice you have for preparing for the op day, anything I should prepare beforehand or anything you recommend buying that has helped make the journey a little easier?

    thanks in advance xx

Arnica tablets to start taking the day after the op to help with bruising. Hot water bottle for your lower back. V pillow for sleeping. Ice packs at least 3. A sippy cup with a straw. A wheat pillow that you microwave for your neck. Sports bras obviously lol. Comfy zip up hoodie. Tea tree wipes (your face will get super oily…really random side affect). Dry shampoo so you feel human. Food you want to eat, I actually got prepped meals to make it easy. Biscuits etc to snack on sometimes you don’t fancy a proper meal those first few days but you’ll need to eat something calorie dense to take your pain meds. Ginger/peppermint tea to help with bloating, I also took activated charcoal tablets which really helped with the bloating too. I also bought “sleepy” body lotion from lush and their “twilight” body spray. I found sleeping the hardest bit and they really helped send me off. The main thing I would say is be realistic. Prepare yourself that there will be pain. Don’t be shocked if they don’t look perfect right away, and don’t be scared or shocked by the different pains involved. Sorry for my big long message haha just trying to think of all of those little things that helped. X
