Hi there I live in a small down and the shops r rubbish .theres only m&s here to get measured. I’ve measured my self at home and I’m 31 under bust and 38 over .so I went to m&s she measured my under bust only and told me I was a 36 Back I was like that’s gonna be too big I no. So she trotted off and brought back a 36 back with guess what was far to big which she then said that there must be an abromallity with my rib cage . I’m so stressed out and upset as I no there nothing wrong with my rib cage so I still don’t no what bra to get xx

Hi, I’ve not bought mine yet but I know a lot of girls on here get Yianna ones on amazon or ones by a company called Macom. I’ve not heard good things about M&S post op bras tbh, things like rubbing on your incisions.

M&S are very well known for fitting people with larger band sizes for the bras they currently have in stock I’d try not to let them put you off google uk bust size calculator and it should tell you your size. I’d order perhaps two/three different cup sizes so you can gauge the fit x

@dazzelea I’m going to my 6 week check tomorrow then going to get measured I’m not even going to m&s as I read so many people are unhappy with the sizing.. I’ve measured myself with the boob calculator and I’m 32 under bust and 38 over, I don’t see how your rib cage should make a difference I have chest wall asymmetry so I will let you know how I get on.. is there no way you can get to a diff shop ?x

Thanks girls I’ve order a non expensive bra off the internet just to c if it fit before I splashed out on expensive ones . I had drought some 34 dd ones but they was so uncomfortable. And thought surely I’m not an e but it come today and it fits perfectly so I guess I’m a 34 e omg lol x

Definitely try the boob or bust calculator. I used that and bought bras in that size to see.
If a tape measure fits around you at 31 inches, then a 32 back bra would fit! Possibly even be too big. M&S are terrible at measuring! Even though they have supposedly changed their methods. Boux Avenue are better, however even they added inches to my underbust – I think the fitter was inexperienced and panicked a bit!
Your best bet would be bravissimo if you can get to one xxx

I’ve tried the calculator and I’m 28 under the bust and 35 over then every inch is apparently a cup size. But I’m surly not a 32f that’s what’s showing.. ???

Ann Summers both measured me as exactly the same and I went down a band (and obvs up a fair few cups!) Must just depend which woman you get.
