Post op cream on scars

Just had my post op two weeks. The nurse told me to start using vitamin e cream straightaway. I have read on here and a lot of people are saying they have been told not to use cream for 6 weeks . Has anyone been told two weeks like me ? X

I’ve been told to use bio oil on the scars at 4 weeks post op but have been using moisturiser and avoiding the scars for the last two weeks x

I’ve decided to leave mine for a few more weeks. My scars don’t look healed 100% . I’ve got bio oil as well. I keep reading body shop vitamin e cream is good x
