I am 3 days post op, I am really worried because one of my boobs looks bigger than the other. As well as this I keep getting a sharp burning pain in that boob when I move, I think it’s harder than the other one too. My other boob seems okay and I haven’t had any pain from it.. has anyone else experienced this? Or got any advice as I’m worried it’s not meant to be like that..

I haven’t had my surgery yet but went for my pre op the other day with the nurse and she told me if ones bigger than the other or different shapes in the week or 2 weeks after surgery don’t worry it’s normal and you should treat each boob as 2 different surgeries. It should calm down in the next week, so don’t be worried x

Hey Melissa I had my BA surgery Friday. I’ve had a lot of pulling/tugging feeling in my right side. I know this is normal and will get better by day 3. Everyone will always have one boob worse than the other. My right boob was extremely painful when the drain come out and my nipple feels very strange but I know it will take time to feel normal again. You’ve got to think that all the nerves have been disconnected so it’s going to feel strange and take a while to go back to normal. Try not to stress as it’s normal. Happy healing. You’re very early on Hun and will experience all kinds of different aches and pains, I’m still getting some and I’m 10wpo, mine where uneven for a while but they are now even and have actually softened 🙂 patience is the key, honestly it’s all worth it, all the emotions I had in the beginning feel like a distant memory. Happy healing 🙂 x
