Post op pain

Girls looking for some help please
I’m on post op day 4 and still in loads of pain! I thought the pain would settle down enough for me to go back to work in 2 days time but I’m getting so stressed about this now!
I’m so sore where my stitches are and the pain meds aren’t helping. I’ve done everything I should have but I feel the pain is never going to go away, it literally makes me feel sick when I stand up it’s that sore!
Did anyone else experience this?
I’ve had 375cc under muscle

I’ve had 375 over the muscle in 2dpo and im in the worst pain too. I feel like every time I move I’m splitting my stitches open I’ve been in tears all morning the only time it doesn’t hurt is if I’m literally not moving at all. I’ve stop taking my co codamol as they haven’t helped at all and I’m just gonna get on with it every day. It can only get better I hope. A lot of girls have said use ice packs so I’m going to give that a try maybe you should too x

I’m 4 weeks P.O. what you’re feeling is absolutely normal. I was expecting to be relatively ok in a short space of time but I wasn’t. It took me 3 weeks and even now at 4 weeks I can still feel I’ve had an op. Keep up with your painkillers and don’t be too hard on yourself. Recovery takes time xx

It was just that I’d read so many patient stories about people being in very little pain I felt that my pain wasn’t normal but at least I know it’s not just me!xx

Hiya hun I’m 4 days post op I had 350cc overs and I’ve got to be honest I’ve had zero pain but I will say when I wake up in the mornings it hurts I had to check my incisions to make sure they weren’t bleeding because it felt like they were ripping open I’m taking paracetamol and codeine the pain last for around 20 mins I’m ok then maybe ring your gp and see if they can prescribe you so.ething a little stronger hun hope it doesn’t last to long for you xx
