Hi girls – anyone have experiences or recommendations with pillows to make recovery and sleeping elevated on your back easier? I’m between getting a wedge pillow or a U shaped maternity pillow (see pictures)

Also what did you girls use for bloating/constipation that worked or didn’t work? My surgeon has recommended milk of magnesia.

Anything else you can think of that made recovery easier let me know pls! I also plan to get ice packs. Survey is Friday!

I thought the bed wedge was a lifesaver! Used it with a v shaped pillow on top and it was fab 🙂

Oh didn’t even think about a combination of the two! Did the V pillow keep you from rolling over in your sleep?

    Hi Mary,
Pepper mint tea works wonders for bloating.
I watched a video on you tube she had one of those travel neck pillows and swore by, used it both times of having it done. She was a mya lady.

    Good luck! Xx

I bought the v pillow and plenty pillows but I also bought an electric recliner chair because I knew I would not be able to sleep sat up in bed that chair was a godsend! I’m now booked in for revision and so glad I kept it as I will be needing it again I slept downstairs for two weeks on that chair but because I was able to recline at different levels it saved my back lol , you can hire chairs online for around 100pounds a week alot of money but defo worth it because I had uplift aswell as implants i knew that I would probably struggle in bed
