Praying Corona Does not cancel

Anyone got their op on the 17th in Preston and are paranoid that Boris will have to shut down everything in the North- I have been worried all day abort the potential “3 tier system” and it says hospitality and leisure will close but what about cosmetic surgery? Do they come under that?

I was meant to have my surgery on the 6th then it was rescheduled to the 12th as my surgeon had to have a covid swab. I’ve been making myself sick with worry that its going to get cancelled again last minute. But I’m also worried about returning to work as now I only have a week off!

Ahhh I hope it goes all well! I hope that you get your surgery on the day it’s meant to be- I’m not upset if mine gets cancelled it’s more the face that it’s been changed to the 17th from November 13th and now I think Preston will be further locked down and I’m scared what it’s going to change to I’m so anxious 🤣

I have my op on the 17th too! It sounds selfish but I’m praying the new restrictions don’t affect me, I was originally scheduled in November but changed to the 17th of Oct so had to change everything! I’ve got everything booked and sorted, I’m so excited and I’m praying they won’t cancel it 😢

Omg Chloe I’m the exact same!! I mean hotels are staying open so I hope other industries can too- I will be upset if not as I proper hype myself up and get excited- especially because it’s in less than a week 😕

Hi all, I hope so much your ops go ahead. It’s such a worry. I had mine cancelled due to new covid regulations on Friday. Absolutely gutted, my OP was in 20 something days, now have to wait until next year. It really sucks to get that news. All the best to you all xxx

I’m trying to not worry so much but our op date is only 5 days away!! Then I’ll find myself searching the news for hours lol! Preston is red on the heat map (tier 3) and in this new tier system that’s going to be introduced it says that pubs, restaurants and hospitality services will have to close for 16 days?? I’m thinking it won’t affect us at the moment, I’m hoping it doesn’t!! But I’m just waiting nervously until tomorrow afternoon ☹️ All the best to everyone!x

The chief medical officer said he’s doing his best to keep elective services and surgery open!! I think that’s meaning for now stuffs still happening!!

I hope so! Call me simple but surely surgeries (cosmetic or other) should be okay to go ahead even with new restrictions! I don’t think anyone would be allowed to run around a hospital and gather with a group of people there lol!

I’ve got mine in 2 mins! I think it’ll be fine, just more restrictions but we’ll see!!

Ahhh enjoy! Apparently corona tests make your nose hurt for a bit but should be fine

Just finished! I keep sneezing lol! It’s just a tingle cause the swab is dry and it itches your nose but nothing terrible! It’s finally hit me that I’m having the op now though. Cause the test is the last step I’ve only got 4 days to wait then it’ll be the day! Can anyone just let me know what they’re packing for their op? I’ve got the usual bras and pyjamas and then ice packs for when I’m home but I feel like I’ve got nothing to take? 🤣

Ahhh excited! So did the nurse say anything about cancellation or is she also in the unknown (I mean like I said the medical officer was confident that currently elective surgery will still go ahead) however warning we will not be able to stay overnight I do not think but pack pjs incase (usually have to stay due to anaesthesia complications) a power bank for your phone- a robe and baggy clothing and a few elastic hair ties- fluffy socks is top of my list also

She didn’t say anything about the op not going ahead! Thankyou!! I didn’t think about some comfy socks! I’ve been under GA before and woke up in shock, the socks and robe will be a big help thank you! 😊

I’ve never been told any difference i spoke to.my nurse this smorning while doing covid test it wasn’t to bad throat bit the worst xx

Me being the anxious person I am I actually rang a private hospital in Liverpool and they said they’re still going ahead with surgeries (as they’re in tier 3 and Preston is set to go there) 🤣 I think I did it for peace of mind but I think you’re right Samantha should be all fine for Preston too

It did!! I will post pictures when I can lovely rn I’m a bit nauseous so have no motivation xx I don’t think anything is set to change rn for anyone else’s either I was super surprised it went ahead but it was so worth it xx

My before and after pictures are “too large to upload” kb wise so I think I might make a new thread of people want to see my results 375cc Hp partials with Mr mahdi start size 34b

I think a lot of the girls on here just use an app like pic collage hun – it makes them smaller for you and you can post 2 pics next to each other xx

Will do that tomorrow x need to find decent before pictures I have like none I hated my boobs so much before I think ima ring MYA to get them or email x
