    Hi ladies,

I had my first BA in 2010 and am currently researching a second.

I was wondering what the recovery is like after having a re-op. Is it better/worse/the same as first time round?

Also, has anyone recovered from a BA with young children at home? I have a nearly 3 year old and a 5 month old. Ideally my husband will be able to take some leave to be there for the first few days. I just remember not even having the strength to flush the chain on the loo, let alone lift a baby!!

    Xx

    Hey,

    Thanks for your replies

Good luck to you both! Definitely let me know how you get on recovering with children at home.
That’s reassuring that Mr Traynor said about hardly any pain…are you going much bigger than first time round? Xx

I was ok with the anaesthetic last time, I do remember being in pain for a few times and struggled to sleep sat up. I’m a 34 dd now but they have lost all volume and don’t let ok great after having two children, I’m unsure on the implant size I have in so Dr Traynor has ordered 5 different sizes ???? I’m excited now just want it to be tomorrow, I will let you ladies know how I get on xxx

I’m having 470cc but he’s ordered 445cc encase they don’t fit too, I currently have 325cc I just showed him loads of photos of how I want them to look and I said no options straight up what size would you choose and he said 470cc 100% I remember the first time fussing so much over the different sizes I’d been offered, I just wanted to put the faith in my surgeon this time. I’m so excited but nervous to, really hope my recovery is a lot easier this time xx

Morning, my admission time was 11 yesterday, I went to theatre around 1.45 and left at 6pm. I went to Preston and all the staff were lovely. When Mr Traynor cane to see me before I went down his main concern was that we didn’t know wgat inplant size I previously had in buthe had ordered plenty of sizes as I was going bigger, he thought by looking and touching there were around 400cc as they wasn’t massive I’m 5ft 9. First thing I asked when I woke up what size did I have in and have now? That was the only thin I felt nervous about… I had 500cc low profile and now have 700cc high profile, I thought they were going to be so big! But at the moment there looking fine for me. I had a little pain around the incision area yesterday, didn’t get any sleep last night I really struggle with the sitting up s I’ve probably had around 1 hour 30 mins I’ve been up since 4am, I have some pain today around the sides but it’s bareable xx
