Quick question lovelies

Hello girls, I have my surgery booked for the 3rd of September…eek!

I was wanting to know how long it took you/ you’re expecting it to take you to get back to work. I know it says one week on the website but 12 days after my surgery there is something exciting happening at work for five days which I want to be in every day for… I would only be doing adminy bits and walking around. Is this something you would recommend I do?

Hi Rachel. I went back to work after 10 days and felt absolutely fine 🙂 pretty much pain free and managing fine with paracetamol. I work in an office. As long as your not doing any heavy lifting then you should be fine 🙂 x

Rachel I think it mainly depends on the type of work you do and whether its overs o4 unders you are getting. I Rose had overs so quicker and easier recovery. Im having dual plane and my consultant has said 2 weeks to be on the safe side

I had under and was back in the office 1 week post op lol! See how you feel, I felt fine and was driving myself crazy doing nothing at home so I went back to work earlier!
