    Hi Ladies,
How did you find the recovery procedure? How much time did you take off work? How bad is the pain? I’m having 300cc unders – thanks

Hi Emma, I had 6 days off work as my strapping came off on a Monday so didn’t go back until the Tuesday. I’m not going to lie the pain was not good and I felt ill for at least a week after, off my food and had headaches. But after the first week it really does get much easier, I’ve still got mild discomfort but nothing constant, just twinges, it’s so worth it though! Are you having unders or overs as overs aren’t supposed to be as bad?

Hi Im having 300cc unders, I want my surgery asap but I have plans around the procedure date, eg works xmas do n then im going to Dublin for the weekend, I should wait until January as more practical but im sooo impatient. if I thought the recovery was going to be fairly easy id risk it but its not looking likely. haha xx

No unless you have a good 3 week gap before your Christmas party I wouldn’t risk it as you can’t drink for 2 weeks following the procedure and I really didn’t want to, plus you can’t fly for 6 weeks. Some girls are fine and would say go ahead but you won’t know how you’ll be after so it depends if you’re willing to take the gamble and hope for the best ha xx

January it is then !! Gives me more time to pay for it too 🙂

Hi emma i had unders im 7 weeks post op and i was no good for about 3 weeks had 2 weekss off work. To be honest past 2 weeks is when iv started to feel myself again. I was told off my surgeon that unders are a lot more painful and recovery time longer and wow he waant wrong i dnt regret it as i lobe them but it really wiped me out. Everyone is different though and we all heal differently.. Good luck xxx

I had a week off work and had 325cc unders! I didn’t even think it was painful it’s just a heavy ache! I was driving day 8 and stopped taking pain killers day 4 and I feel normal and I’m 13 days post op! It depends on how you take pain but to be honest, I laid in bed for 3 days and felt worse off than when I started moving around! Xxx

Sorry but I have to disagree. I was drinking wine the night after my surgery (only one glass) my surgeon advised I could but to keep it sensible and minimal. So after 3 weeks you should be fine to drink as long as you are sensible and don’t get absolutely trashed n fall over. Also with regards to flying after your op, all surgeons advise differently. I had my breast augmentation in Belgium and flew home 2 days after surgery, I’m now 5 weeks post op and absolutely fine. Loving my new boobs and was so lucky to have such a professional and accurate surgeon. Everyone is different but my advice is you should be fine to fly to Dublin. Xx
