Recovery with small child

Hi everyone,
I’m getting my enlargement done end of June but wondered if anyone can share their stories? I have a 2.5 year old daughter, has anyone else had theirs done with a small child at home? How did you manage? And how long was it until you could do normal motherly duties? 🙂 x

Hey, I have a 3 year old, I’m 3 weeks post op. I had unders and found the recovery pretty smooth pain wise, I was up and doing light duties straight away (walking, washing up etc). My son loves cuddles and is always sat on me but I explained mommy wasnt well and he was excellent, was hard with feeling tired but his dad was on hand to help out. I still haven’t picked him up but feel I’d be able to just done want to risk it.

My advice would be have plenty of activities for them, encourage them to help you makes them feel great! And have help on hand where possible. Just make sure you rest and recover yourself.
