Rhinoplasty bruising!!!

Hey ladies,

Im 2 days post op and getting concerned about the bruising and swelling around my eyes. Theres no pain but looking at other peoples pics i havent seen anything as bad as mine. Wondering if anyone has any tips?? I am taking my antibiotics n pain killers and ive bought arnica cream which im applying twice a day and ive also been using a cold gel compress. Ive put a few pics up so have a look and let me know pls as im contemplating calling the nurse??? Xxx

Hey hun I’ve just added you to see how bad your bruising is. Was it open or closed? I’m one week post op closed my bruising started about day 2 a purple yellow, it’s healing well now 7 days post op but my face is still puffy. Sleep slightly elevated and I was told to drink pineapple juice which I found really helped x

I had closed rhino, i have been sleeping upright cos of having a BA too, i hope it gets better in the coming days lol, i cant drink pineapple juice as im allergic to it x

Some people bruise worse than other it also depends on if he had to break the nose . I hope I don’t bruise too bad when I have mine . When I had my BA I didn’t have a single bruise whereas my friend looked butchered after hers xx
