Have you thought of finance hun? I’m lucky my partners paid for mine for Christmas, but if he hadn’t I would of been on exactly the same boat as you! I think I’d of gone down the finance route as I just cannot save!! Xxx

    I saved my ass off!
I had some inheritance so I was able to put down 1.5k for my deposit and I got a £500 discount.
But saving the rest was a struggle! I got turned down for finance so that was my only option.
It took me around a year to finally pay it off. I was paying mya directly, so giving x amount every week to them. This might help you out a bit. I know I had to do it that way or I wouldn’t of been able to save as I’m awful with money!
But almost everything I had left over was going to mya. I was so skint it was unreal!
Finally all paid off and have my op in january! Xxx

I use mya piggy bank best thing as i cant save so u ring up u say can i add some money into piggy bank even if u ring up each week and put £10 in they just take ur card details over the phone ‘ they dont charge u for using it and u can have it for 10years if u wished they dont take anymoney from doing it bascally like a savings acount ‘ when u get to £500 in the piggy bank u can book ur surgery ‘ then when u have full amount in there u use that to pay for it and mya already have ur money so you dont have to worry about them gettinf it in time for surgery
I have two kidsand a house to pay for so i started of just paying.odd 10 here and there it soon adds up ive had it for about 6 months and i have in there atm £1200 and u dont notice it really paying little bits of i ring up every week to pay some in 🙂 dont go with finace because if u miss payments it fucks ur credit rating up especially if ur planning on getting a morgage in the future ‘ and u get added intrest your best just doing mya piggy bank if u ring up mya u can set it up 🙂 just say can i start a piggy and just pay £10 in to start ur more determined to do it that way without spending it best choice i did 🙂 i cant even save a £1 lol without buying a chocolate bar with it aha ‘ aswell thia way once there done u havent got to worry for like the next 3 years paying ur finance of ive learnt the hard way stay away from loans its a big commintment to have the funds every month for that amount of time atleast u have payed it your own way xx

I saved £200 each month from my wages and it took me just over a year to save £2500 and then I did the 0% finance option which is when you pay half the cost, have your surgery, then pay the rest off a month after your op (£250 a month for 10 months) xx

Have you looked into interest free credit cards? I paid half of mine from savings but was too impatient to save the other half so I got an interest free credit card to pay for the other half. It’s interest free for 30 months so means I can pay it off at no extra cost and got my boobs a lot sooner then I thought!
I went on to Expedia and checked what the best credit cards I could get for my credit rating and went from there, just an idea 🙂 xx

    Hello girls
I’ve got a really bad credit score but I’ve heard mya do an option where they take half the BA amount then do a 10 month payment plan where they don’t check your credit score? Is this true as I would be able to get half of The amount but I don’t think I could get the full amount and I’m really desperate to get them done.

Hey chick! I’m not sure as I didn’t do the finance with MYA but I’m sure with any sort of finance they do have to do some sort of credit check but they might not look into it as far as a loan or something x

I would seriously consider going for a loan with a bank rather than finance with Mya. You can get much better interest rates elsewhere.
I’m also lucky my husband is paying for mine. But as long as your credit history is ok you can get a 2% lone these days. No need to go with Mya who I think are like 19%

@amspxo Yes MYA do a 0% interest option, that’s how I did mine. xx

Amelia i was going to pay half and get the 10 months payment finance. But i still did not pass as i have a bad credit sore. So they do check. I had to get my mum to help with the rest on a loan as a guarantor x

I’m really worried as my credit score is very low and I don’t really know anyone to be a guarantor , I’ve read they do an option for no credit check but I’m pretty sure they have to do one
