Scared pointy boobs won't drop

Hi this is my first post hope someone can help. I had 360 unders on Friday the 16th with dr singh. I love the size, I’m wearing a 34DD sports bra and I was a 34a/32b before. I had grade 1 tubular and a aereola herniation in my left breast the implants have actually corrected the asymmetry. I’m just scared they look so stuck on and pointy at the moment like cones! This was my worst fear as my boobs were pointy in the first place so I stressed I wanted them rounder. I’ve read about them dropping so I’m hoping that will help the shape. Also I feel they’re more apart than what I wanted. I’m 6days post op now and don’t really see much change. I’m so upset as I’ve saved for a long time for them and I can’t even look at them. Has anyone ever felt like this? Il try and attach some pictures of my before and after. Thanks xx

Hi Hun I had mine op on the 14 Jun and mine are still pointy and haven’t dropped yet also like you this was my only fear as I had quite pointy boobs befor surgery but I had my 1 week post op yesterday and my nurse has reassured me they won’t look like this forever and they will drop around week 3-8 usually my nurse said yesterday xxxx

Thanks so much for replying! It’s so worrying isn’t it as the whole idea of me having my boobs done was to fix the pointyness! I could never go bralass as I’d have triangles poking out lol and I don’t want that again! My phones not letting me take any photos but I have one from underneath however this doesn’t show the shape on the side profile! Xx

I’m in the same situation! I had my op on the 19th so I know I’m only a few days post op but they’re pointier than they were before. I feel like old style Lara Croft from tomb raider haha!

You’re only 6 days post op, the paper work that you get does state that for the first 1-2 weeks they will be pointy and cone shaped. This is very common and there is nothing to worry about. They also advise that around the 6-8 week mark your boobs drop and fluff, so don’t panic at such an early stage x

Thanks so much for everyone’s replies. I do feel better knowing I’m not the only one and that they will change! Guess it’s just a waiting game now doesn’t help that I’m so impatient! That Lara Croft comment made me laugh that is exactly how I look haha. I didn’t get any paper work saying that this was to be expected I was just told it can take 6months to a year to see the final results xx

Oh ok, when I went for my appointment to meet my nurse before my op, she gave me paper work and went through the stages so 1-2 weeks they are very cone shaped and look stuck on, week 6-8 they will drop and fluff x

I’m almost 7WPO and i had tubular release. Mine are still pointy at the bottom. Still waiting for mine to drop and fluff. Such a long process xo

Ahhh finally someone with my BA! Also had 360 unders AND I also had them done on 16th HOW WEIRD LOL :), don’t worry hun I’m 5 days PO and Had massively pointy ‘stuck on’ boobs too! They’re slowly getting less pointy, don’t worry lovey they will soon drop, become less pointy and more natural xxx

Where did u go for it? Did u have dr. Singh too? Mine literally haven’t changed at all since after surgery I’m starting to think i just naturally have pointy nipples lol I so hope I get some bulk at the bottom of my boobs if you know what I mean xx

nah honey went with mybreast but exactly same day, implants and EVERYTHING lol 🙂 if it makes you feel better hun at least it’s better than nipples pointing completely down, my friends did! xx

I’m nearly 12wpo with tubular and mine are still pointy the nurse told me the implants give you a bigger version of what you have! Obviously I’m disappointed but will see the surgeon next week! Xx

Roxanne yours look good they have dropped well and u have underboob! When do you see your surgeon? I was also told you get a bigger version of what u have but the fact I complained about my original shape so much, That was my main issue to change the shape. Have u got a pic from the side? My phones broken at the min but I get a new phone next Wednesday so will upload some pics then to show what I mean I literally have traffic cones lol xxx

I have underboob but the top isn’t full, there very sloping and extra pointy nipples! I said to the nurse I wanted round and if I was told before the opp they will be the same I wouldn’t have had them. I will take some side pictures when I get a chance. I’m seeing Mr Giannitrapani on Tues to see what he says x

I’m 6weeks post op this Saturday. My B.A. has ruined my life so far. I have lost my boyfriend I have been put on anti depressants and I am struggling. I can’t gym and I can’t go back to my job for another couple of weeks it’s very physical upper body. I just sleep and cry. I really need someone in a similar situation to me but it seems like nooone had as severe as me. My breasts are just hanging off an implant.. I’m told to just wait for skin to stretch out and my constricted lowered pole to take the implants. My tuberous breasts were more hanging than pointy though. ????

Roxanne, I have sent you a friend request – I hope you don’t mind – I have slightly tuberous boobs (restricted lower pole), and I was wondering if you might be able to tell me what your surgeon did for your procedure (some seem to insist on a lift and implant while others just lower the inframammary crease – I am really hoping to avoid a lift and just have the implants).
