Scarring

Hi ladies just wondering what everyone’s scarring was like at 7weeks post op. I am currently at this stage and my scars still seem very red x

Thankyou ladies I have a nice clean straight cut but it’s very red and not fading in colour x

Hi Sophie, as long as it looks clean and does not hurt/itch I believe things are ok 😊 give it maybe 6 months-12 months for it to start fading. However if concerned definitely try to contact your nurse or surgeon.

Thanks Maria I really made a big mistake about 5 weeks post op I had a sunbed but thought it would be ok as long as they where covered so I think that is we’re I went wrong. Do you know if any creams I can put on? X
