Hi girls x I am nearly 5 months post operation and my underboobs scars are still bad and very visible. The right one is more bumpy than the left one. I just hate them πŸ™ I had check up 2 months ago with Dr Mounir and he told me that scars will disappear in 3 months but … they are visible and I am so embarrassed when naked… please help

Oh no .. I’m sorry to hear that Hun . Have you tried coco oil ? That helps greatly with scars . Use it religiously. Also we all heal differently and maybe your scars are taking a little more time . Have you got a pic you can upload xx

Are you of a mixed/Black/Asian heritage? Don’t mean to be rude but keloid and hypertrophic scarring is a lot more common in our skin tones, although possible in all. Your skin over heals and produces too much scar tissue after an injury, you can buy creams and oils, there are some steroid creams that can ease the scarring and calm it down or some patches that you can apply. I’m sure your boobies are still beautttt!

Hi Daria, i don’t think it’s something to really worry about, im 7 months post op and mine still look really red and angry but i had a c-section 4 years ago and i can remember my scar from that was visible for quite a while but it did fade over time, you can’t actualy see it at all now even close up if you were looking for it and it’s twice as long as my BA scars so some just take longer than others to heal, i think coconut oil is great but if you want to feel like your doing more maybe buy a target product, im going to tag Fran as she used a particular one and ive seen a few others reccomend it on here but can’t remember the name, here’s a pic of mine xxx
