Scars /// gels /// keloid // help

So I had to have my appendix out 2 months ago and my scars have turned keloid. Been using a steroid tape ( only been using it a short time, yet to see results) . Anyone else suffers with keloid scars? Both my sisters have at least 1 and I have read it can be hereditary. I have spoken to the nurse who is going to put it in my notes ready for my op …. just looking to see what other people have used etc….. see my pic for my scars 2 months on ☹️. Least I know to expect keloid scaring this time and can be as prepared as I can be .
