Is 6 days realistic to cover after second op as my partner works away and I’ll have no other help with childcare , my two are 2&4, do you think I’ll be ok?

Hey, I had my 2nd BA and found it so much easier than first! However I still booked off two weeks as I suppose depend on your job if your office base you might be ok. But also remember the 2nd op is more complex so although you might feel better quicker you still have to give plenty of recovery time for your body!

Luckily I’m currently a stay at home mum, but I will be alone with 2 toddlers to look after on the 7th day onwards for 2 weeks,, that’s freaking me out a little. My little girl clings to me 24/7. Plus bathing cooking there meals etc oh dear hope I’m ok lol x

Ah you might be ok! Just prep yourself so you don’t have to stretch to reach things and avoid picking her up but her her to sit on your lap instead!
I don’t have children but I’ve had a clingy dog to deal with that wants to jump on me all the time! Ha!

i had my second BA 2 weeks ago and it was definitely easier than the first. i remember first time round not even being able to lift my arms up for about 5 days. This time i could lift them straight away but still found it difficult and sore moving my arms. After a week i felt pretty much back to normal this time and could lift stuff and move about painfree. however, there’s been a few moments where ive hurt myself using my arms too much, like picking my niece up who is 3 and she knocked me today and it hurt. if you’re able to be careful you’ll be fine to be up and about looking after your kids if you can avoid picking them up or lifting heavy things.
    good luck with your surgery!
