Hi girls, I’m now 4 days post op. I was a 28A and have 250cc in both breasts as my surgeon said I couldn’t go any bigger πŸ˜‚ I’m just starting to get used to the pressure pain from wearing the band. But since having the surgery, I’ve been getting sharp pains in my right breast between the incision and my nipple, even more so when I move slightly or stand up.
My nurse said this was completely normal but at the minute it seems like I’m gonna be suffering with the pain and not being able to do things for myself for a lot longer than I thought. I’m worrying about going back to work as I work in childcare, obviously I’d be on light duties but we’re constantly on the go and I would feel lazy and can’t just sit by and not do things that I’d normally do.

Is this pain normal or should I be worried?? I thought the pain would be easing by now.. Please tell me all this gets better and is worth it soon enough x

Hi Hayley, I had the exact same pain in my left side. Was so sharp and made me want to cry. But it honestly only lasted a couple days. I was a 32A and got 265cc. Try not to worry too much. I know I did at the time too and it feels like it’s never going to get better, but it really will. I’m just over 4 weeks now and feel nearly normal again. Only a little uncomfortable but no pain at all. Xx

Hey – I used to get a similar pain in my left side when I stood up and could never see it going and one day I stood up and it had just gone.. things change so much everyday x

Hi girls, thank you all so much! It’s put my mind to rest knowing that everything I’m feeling is normal. I’m so excited to see the result when they’ve settled πŸ˜€ x
