Ladies, I had my op yesterday and i’m not in much pain but I can not sleep! I just can’t get comfy sitting up and if I get too far down it puts pressure on my chest and I can’t breathe plus I get stuck and can’t get back up! Anyone got any tips to help? x

Do you have a v pillow and a travel pillow? I would just surround your self with lots of pillows to see if it will help.

I have a V pillow but can’t seem to get it in the right place. I am now downstairs on the sofa to see if that helps, so tired. x

I found the best position was with 3 pillows stacked in the normal place you’d have them on the bed, then one pillow below them to support your back, and then the V pillow on top, I also used a blanket/throw above the V pillow to support my head, plus it was cosy! 🙂
Hope you manage to find a good position, I was 5dpo before I managed to find my comfy nest! Lack of sleep is awful! x

I’m 1DPO…didn’t sleep last night. I keep dozing and then I’m wide awake. My PC called to see how I was and she said use as many pillows as possible.
Pain is minimal, got a bag of frozen sweet corn on my chest to cool the boobies.

Hope you get some zzz soon xxx

Get a travel pillow. I had a wedge pillow and a travel pillow, the combination of two worked well for me 🙂 happy recovery, hopefully you’ll get some sleep soon xx

Managed about 3 hours on the sofa but that was it. Hoping for better luck tonight. Thanks everyone for the advice, will give it a go. xx
