Every night I start off asleep on my back, but in the morning I wake up on my side!! I can’t seem to stop it and it doesn’t hurt at all.

Will I do damage on my side? When are we actually allowed to sleep on our side? Xx

I’ve been told you can squash your boobs by doing so and once the damage is done it’s done and irriversable. I’d put something uncomfortable at either side so it wakes you up when you try to roll over in your sleep.

My nurse told me I could sleep however I feel comfortable now just obviously not on my front lol.. I’ve tried a couple of time to lie on my side but it feels strange 🙂 xx

@jenandmax1 I dunno what to put there to stop me lol. I was better off sleeping upright as I didn’t move then. Xx

I got told at least 6 weeks before i can lie on my side- apperently lying on your side can cause the implants to deform xxx

I’m sure they just say what the nurse told me to be over precausious, how long has it been since the op? Xx

Buy a v shaped cushion and prop yourself up. Depends how long really x

I have a v shaped but can’t deal with the sleeping propped up as I did 2 weeks of it. I am 18DPO, what uncomfortable thing can I put next to me? I only ever seem to wake up on my left side, so prob only need something there xx

@hannahlaura i know what you mean, i got told to put a pillow either side of me to stop me from going on my side, at one point last night though i woke up kind of my side still :/ my pillows are too flat xx

Hi Hannah I was told I was allowed to sleep on my side and sleep flat from Saturday just gone, find it uncomfortable to sleep on sides though and end up on back, even though couldn’t wait to sleep on sides now can’t lol can’t bloody win xx

Ha ha I feel ur pain totally Hannah I am spending most nights awake on & off every hour , I’m so para about laying on my side , I hate hate HATE sleeping on my back ! lol but there must be a potential risk with side sleeping before 6 weeks as mya are quite strict on this , I’ve also spent lots of time researching on real self & the overall feedback from lots of surgeons was not before 6 weeks it would seem. I wrap my V pillow around my neck & lay really low & have 2 cushions either side . It’s hard work but will get there hey , good luck Hun it will be worth it xx
