Hi so I’m due to get my strapping off on Saturday, it’s the thick sticky one, how do they get this stuff off it’s seriously stuck! My boyfriend pulled a bit that was loose and it actually brought me to tears, I’m worried about getting it taken off now! Anyone had this taken off how did they do it?
    Thanks xx

I hate to say it but it does hurt a bit! Don’t want to sugar coat it, I had the same and they use an alcohol wipe to try and help to get it off but basically they just pull it off….at least you’ll get so see your new boobs though xx

Hey I had my strapping taken off on Tuesday and I was so worried like you. By Tuesday it was getting so itchy and irritating I was so ready for it to come off. The nurse used just a warm damp flannel to ease it off and surprisingly it didn’t hurt at all! It was almost just soothing the itch lol.. it did take a little bit of my skin off but I only felt that after cos it started stinging when i put my sports bra back on.. but after a bit of sudacrem it’s all fine.. don’t worry you’ll be fine!! X

I am getting to the stage now where I just want the thing off! It’s so annoying feel like it’s doing more harm than good but only 1 more day to go then it’s gone thank God xx

Hey, I was sent away from the hospital last week with this and told to remove it a day later but I couldn’t as it was ridiculously painful and like it had been super glued down. I got some baby oil which helped to get some of it off and had to have a district nurse come out to remove the rest. The nurse thought I had an allergic reaction to the material which is what made it so difficult to get off x
