Struggling to sit up/pain Started by: dvrue

    I had a BA under the muscle Sept 4 with Dr Fiumara. I’m now day 3 po and still struggling to sit up on my own in the mornings. Anyone know when the morning pain eases?

    Morning hun I have no idea as I only had mine on Tuesday but I seem to be getting worse everyday….they do say it has to get worse before it gets better….let’s hope it’s very soon xx

    I feel your pain!!
    Takes me about 20mins to get sat up in the morning. Feel like a tortoise that’s stuck on it’s back! Have To proper psyc myself up!!
    I had 375 unders on the 5th.
    I’m thinking maybe setting an early alarm for pain killers then maybe by the time im ready to get up the pain might be eased a bit xx

    Haha the tortoise on its back is exactly what it feels like! I’ve tried setting an earlier alarm but it doesn’t quite do it because I’ll still have gone for more than 6 hours without pain meds… Will just have to hope that our bodies get used to it quicker. Happy recovery ladies xxxx

    I used to swing myself up haha so I wasn’t using my arms. Even now 13DPO when I first get up in the morning using my arms I struggle, once I have a shower it eases a lot xx

    Yeh might be worth trying it! I know from working on a hospital that sometimes the patients who struggled in the morning would get their pain relief like first thing like 2hours before they got up. Gunna try it tomos as I really struggled this morning. Xx

    I think it took me about 3 weeks po before the morning pain got better, getting out of bed was a massive struggle!! It does get better as the days and weeks go by though. The pain I was in is slowly fading from my memory haha. Happy healing ladies xx

    Hi ladies, hold on in there! Awful feeling but it does get easier! I’m 5wpo op today and noticed it’s been a lot easier this week, still a little stiff but absolutely no pain. Last week I was still quite stiff and no pain and before that I had quite a bit of pain with the achiness (week 3). So I’d say week 3 onwards is when you’ll start noticing a huge difference xxx
