You know when you go to your surgery and you changed into the gown and the funky pants? Call me stupid for even asking this (hahah!) but do you have to take everything off as in your knickers too? Or do you leave your knickers on? Thanks so much in advance x

@louise and @izzy thank you so much girls! I sounded stupid for even asking, but was unsure if you was meant to put it over your knickers or take your knickers off too!! Lmao & gosh we’re they? I’m so petite so knowing my luck now they will just slip straight off me hahaha xx

Also @Louise and @izzy can you shower before going to surgery as in washing yourself with body wash too?? Bc I know you’re not meant to wear make up or mousierizer on your face too etc.. so wondering if you can get in the shower or bath and wash yourself as you normally would including washing your hair, or would you do all that the night before?? And then the day of surgery just wash yourself down with water?? Xx

I was cautious about them but somehow the elastic on the top of them stops them from falling down, they look like you’re supposed to wear an enormous nappy underneath them haha! X

You shouldn’t use anything apart from water on the day of surgery. No moisturizers, shower gel, deodorants, make up, eyelashes, tan, fake nails or varnish, hair extensions. I had a shower the night before and washed my hair. x

Yeh same went in the bath night before washed my hair and body as normal didn’t moisturise…. when the nurse took me to my room she gave me my gown and knickers and said you wear them they don’t go on your head, apparently a few people put them on their head thinking it was a hair net hahaha how funny 🙂 xx

@natalie I’m unsure why but you can’t wear anything haha. No weaves, no hair extensions, no nail varnish, no makeup and no mouistirzer. You have to just come as plain Jane, also no perfume on or anything. Legit just chuck your clothes on and go to your app!! It might have something to do with metal? But unsure

I had my BA 1st May and kept my extensions in. I spoke to the hospital staff before the op and they said they could stay in providing I could guarantee no metal In the bonds whatsoever. Mine are great lengths so they’re soldered in with keratin bonds. If your weave has any metal to it then you’ll have to remove them as it could cause you or the surgeon burns if they have to stop any bleeding with certain equipment but if no metal at all then you should be fine. Speak with your hairdresser and the hospital but that’s prettt much what they told me. Everything else does have to go though, nails the lot. Not glam but so worth it! Good luck x
