Sunbeds after surgery

Hiya ladies!

When did everyone go back on Sunbeds and what did you do about the incisions? I’m almost 6 weeks post op, I was thinking of putting plasters over the scars? Im gonna ask at my post op next week but just wondered about everyone else. Don’t want my scars being really dark xx

Honestly I am dying to go back on the sunbeds I’m feeling so pale but I’m worried about my scars and how they will go. Whenever I ask the nurses they just tell me not to go on sunbeds again as they’re bad for me and give me a lecture so I’m no clearer on timescales x

Me too ?? I need a tan so bad! I’ve never been this pale in my life ?. I’ve read up on it and past 6 weeks seems to be the general timeline. The main concern surgeons mention is the scars as the uv rays can make them go darker so they do recommend putting plasters over them x

How long is the wait before you can have a spray tan? x

@just-kristiane · I’m not sure. But I can’t deal with this pale life much longer. Think I’m gonna put a t shirt on and spray my face, neck and arms. At least to the outside world I’ll look ok ?. I’m wearing high coverage tops to hide the wonky high boobs at the mo anyway lol x
