SUNBEDS & TANNING

anyone who uses sunbeds knows how horrible it is after surgery when you start going pale and I’m at that stage now… I’m currently 8 weeks post op and my tan is slowly fading. Isit true that you have to wait UPTO 12 MONTHS without sunbeds or can I still use them but cover the scars?
Has anyone else been in a similar situation ?

My nurse said to use factor 50 on the scars and to wear a bra/swim wear bra. You can even get sun protection swimwear bras. I’ll be doing that once i’m able to put stuff on my scars. Honestly cannot wait!! Xxx

I’ll be 1 year post op on the 13th Nov, I’ve been using sunbed but have been covering my scars with plasters which I was told was okay to do. Hope this helps! X

Omg wow Thankyou so much I’ve been going insane and was considering waiting 1 whole year I will get some cream tomorrow and make sure I cover them thanks girls xx

How long should you wait till using the beds again ? I have my surgery next Sunday and don’t want to be looking all pale ???? xx

I’m about 12 weeks post op and just cover my scars I’ve been back on them 2 weeks 🙂
