Surgeon appointment Gary Traynor

Hi girls, I posted a while back but had no response lol!
I’ve finally lost the weight I wanted to lose and i’m booked in for my surgeon consultation with Gary Traynor beginning of May AND I AM SO EXCITED!
I’m a 36B currently and wanting to go to a DD ish. Im 5ft 4 and around 11 stone short and curvy lol!
Anyone similar and happy to help?

This is post op day 2. I had 325cc overs with Mr Traynor at Preston. Still swollen and quite sore but I’m happy so far xx

Ah great thanks so much Hayley I’ll follow now! Its something I’ve wanted for so long and been saving for the last 2 years and i’m so exited but also nervous, what should I asking about when I meet Mr Traynor? xx

I’m excited for you, I waited for twelve years for mine and even now I’ve had surgery it still hasn’t sunk in properly yet. It’s all very surreal and dream like. Mr Traynor is straight to the point and can come across quite stern, don’t let this put you off him thou, he is lovely and won’t let you do anything that is too big for you. I’d met him twice before surgery and on the actual surgery day he was a lot more calming etc than he had come across in the consultations. He gave me a choice of sizes but warned me against going for the bigger. He was happy when I told him on the day of surgery that I wanted the 325cc he said that was the best size for me to have. Anything you think of to ask him write down, as silly as it seems because when I got to my first consultation my mind went completely blank xx

Yeah this is what i’m doing every time I think of something I write it down, I have my appointment with him 7th may In Newcastle and I’m hoping to get booked in for my surgery Mid June- start July. I don’t want them stupidly big just a nice size as i’m currently an empty B – full A cup and i just want to wear nice clothes xxx

I was the same, I was a deflated 32b at a push, the second time I seen Mr Traynor he said they had gotten smaller lol. That’s where I seen him at Newcastle, is Julie your pc? I’m there next Wednesday to see the nurse and get this strapping removed, I can’t wait as it’s quite tight but suppose it’s there for a reason. What size are you hoping for? I said I wanted around a dd at my consultation but thwn as it got closer I decided although I wanted a decent size my reasons were for more shape and volume than anything else xx

Yes of course I will. I’m hoping to be brave later on and take my bra off to take a photo lol xx

I was in at the Preston branch yesterday too so this is my 2nd day post op, I’m so so happy with my results, and I agree about Mr Traynor being very stern but very informative! I almost walked out of my consultation with him but so happy I stuck it out because on the day he was fantastic! Looking back I loved how he was in my consultation because it allowed me to know he was the right one, not just someone to take my money without giving me all the risks x

I agree with you Kimberley he was so lovely on the actual day of surgery I really couldn’t fault him. He came to see me just before I left too which was nice and reassuring. How are you finding it? Much pain? Xx

I wouldn’t say I’m in too much pain, I was walking around round 30 minutes after my op asking to go home haha I’ve found it a breeze really. Just really tender, the sort of pain you get when you’ve been to the gym, other than that I’m absolutely fine. How have you been feeling? Xx

I haven’t found it too bad, it’s less painful than I thought it would be although 3am this morning I woke up with quite bad shooting pains. I’m mobile just can’t really lift or push anything that’s heavy xx

Aw I’m glad to hear you’re getting on alright, I didn’t sleep too well as I had to stay in a hotel last night because I’m from Mansfield which is quite a few hours away so couldn’t get comfortable in their beds so looking forward to being in my own bed tonight. I’m struggling a little today pushing things that are heavy but I was stood at 11pm last night making myself a brew lol, just love them so so much xx

Hopefully you’ll get a better sleep tonight, I stayed at Preston because we live a few hours away too. Did Mr Traynor put strapping on the bottom? He has with me and my natural boob hangs over it, I was worried about it but when he came round in the morning he said it was nothing to worry about and that once the strapping is off they be a proper shape xx

Yeah I’ve got strapping on the bottom, and what do you mean proper shape? I haven’t noticed anything abnormal with mine to be honest but I haven’t really taken my bra off to have a look, I can’t bring myself to do it haha xx

I was the same but managed to open it properly earlier to have a look. It’s just where the strapping is it’s making my natural boob hang over a bit, I’m not sure if it’s just because of the strapping being tight. They don’t seem to have any proper shape to them, I do have a natural gap but they seem so far apart and a dodgy shape xx

I’m trying to add a photo in on here to show you mine, from what I can see mine are fine, maybe they just need time to heal a little. Try not to be so disheartened yet they’re so swollen still and need time to fluff out as they say, try not to worry too much I’m more than sure they’ll be perfect and exactly what you wanted in a few weeks xx

Aw you’ll love them honestly, it was a breeze for me so please don’t panic it’s all so worth it xxx

The one thing I am worried about is If I get them done then decide I want to lose more weight so I’ll have to ask about that xxx
