So my surgery is on the 10th April at Preston with Mr Traynor. Any advice on how to prepare and what to take with me on the day?

I was day surgery. A zip hoodie was all that was needed ?

Thanks! My admission time is 8am, not sure how long the wait will be. Got a v pillow for when I’m back home and was just thinking comfy clothes and macom bra to take with me for a day case

I had my surgery today at Preston with Mr Traynor. You just need your surgical bra, comfy clothes (hoodie or button up top) and something to keep you entertained (laptop/book) – I was a day case

I’m ok thank you Gayle, got discharged this morning and got home around an hour ago. Pain wise I have relatively little and have done since having it done, the only time I had real pain was at 3am this morning when I had to ask for pain relief. On a scale of 1-10 it stays at around a three although did get up to about a six/seven. The staff were brilliant at First Trust, I had a breakdown just before they put the canula in me to put me to sleep but all the staff were great and so reassuring. Looking forward to a better nights sleep tonight hopefully xx
