Surgery booked 27th July – So excited!

Hi guys,

So I’ve been reading the forum for ages and have had my first consultation with Ria at the Nottingham clinic today! I’ve been thinking about having this done for so long that I booked my surgery right then and there. I already knew from researching that I wanted Dr Netri but didn’t say anything as I wanted to see which surgeon my patient coordinator recommended. I feel like she really understood what I wanted (even though I was terrible at explaining it aha!) And luckily it was Dr Netri that Ria recommended. Just wanted to share that Ria was super helpful and answered all my questions, a lot of them before I’d even asked lol! Anybody else in for surgery on 27th July at Preston? Be cool to chat and keep eachother going throughout the process 😀 xx

I’ve literally just booked mine now for the 27th too!! With Mr Netri!! ???? I LOVED him, he’s fab! What have you asked for / what did he say?
Not going to lie, I am very scared – but so excited!

Omg so exciting isn’t it?! I keep switching between nervous and excited but I think excited is winning right now lol!
I’ve heard so many good things about him and I follow him on Insta but don’t actually meet him until the 11th so not asked for anything yet but I’m aiming for full DD/E and I’m currently a 34C but PC said this would be achievable 😀
What did he say to you? 🙂
I’m so scared about being put to sleep but I imagine everyone is the same? I just hate needles and things ahaha! X

I’m exactly the same! When I called up to book, I was so excited but nervous at the same time!!
I met him on Saturday, he was lovely! I’m currently a (gappy) 32b and asked for a natural look for my body shape. So he advised 250,275 or 300 Cc HP unders.
I’m going to meet him again before my pre op on the 13th!

We’ve all got very similar dates and are at the same part of the process then, that’s great! Will be good to see how we all get on 😀

What are you girls doing about telling people??
I’ve told the people close to me, and they’ve all been supportive! Had to tell my manager the other day as in my job I travel a lot… that was awkward!! But it was fine!
I’m just thinking about other people – bigger friendship groups? X

It’s so relieving to speak to other people going through the same process. So far only my mum seems to be supportive. Everyone else doesn’t understand why I’m doing it or tells me how I should have them done when it’s up to me. I’ve decided just to not tell anyone else now and not let them ruin it for me. I’m up for a WhatsApp group if there’s any, my number is on my profile . Xx

I’ve told all close family and friends. Surprisingly my dad is more supportive than my mum lol! But everyone has sorta said that it’s my body and my choice so that’s good 😀 as for bigger friendship groups I’d probably only tell anyone if they were to straight up ask me.. I think aha!
End of the day, I’m sure you guys are the same, but this is something I’ve wanted for a long time. So dont worry Lauz, I’m sure people will come around 🙂 they haven’t got a choice really lol 😉 xx

Yeah – I’ve wanted it for a while. So my close friends were just happy for me that I’ve done something about it. Other people I don’t really care on their thoughts, but concerned that some friends might be shocked!!
My mum told my dad, he’s surprisingly ok with it!

Bracken- Yeah exactly! They have no choice. I’m so excited about it so I don’t care if someone else is being negative. It’s something I’ve wanted for nearly 20 years and thoroughly researched and I’ve been on cloud 9 since I booked it. xx

I’m also meeting the surgeon on the 11th Lauz, what time is your appointment?

Hi I have Ria too and she has been amazing since last October when I first drew up interest but I started medication the day before so my consultation had to be redone after 6 months. Anyway since then I’ve been to see Dr Netri and I’m booked for August 2nd. As for people knowing I have told my closest friends and most of my family. Everyone else can find out along the way after. Anyway hope you all have a great experience and hope to see updates on here. Xx
